Mapex Left Footed Falcon Pedal

I have had the privilege of being the first drummer - not only in Europe but worldwide - to try out the Mapex Left Footed Falcon Double Bass Drum Pedal. The 'Lefty' Model was officially released during NAMM 2012 (Anaheim, California), but I was fortunate to receive it prior to that. The Mapex Falcon pedal was delivered in a very fancy case. Supplied are velcro/steel strips which can be screwed to the bottom of the pedal, chain option or alternative nylon strap drives and two alternative accelerator cams. The 'Glide' cam offers an "equal amount of inertia from the beginning to the end of the stroke", while the 'Pursuit' cam is recommended for increased power. The reversible beater head comes with interchangeable 10 gram and 20 gram inserts. As extra mine came with the Mapex Falcon direct Drive accessory Pack included. Although I haven't figured out what my favorite setup is/will be, these are BY FAR the best, the smoothest and fastest pedals I have ever played. I like this pedal.
